What made you choose dentistry? 
I was interested in healthcare because I wanted to work with people.  Dentistry was a good fit for me because I could also work with my hands. 

What do you love most about being a dentist or what do you find the most rewarding? 
I enjoy building relationships with my patients so that they trust me and know that I am doing my best for them. Seeing a big smile from a patient when you have improved the look of their smile is especially satisfying.   

What’s your care/treatment philosophy? 
I am conservative in my treatment approach and do not recommend treatment unless it is necessary.  I then believe in giving patients all their options and then helping them to decide what is best for them. 

Is there a particular area of dentistry you enjoy the most or like to focus on? 
I like the variety that general dentistry allows.  Every day is a different mix of procedures which keeps my job interesting. 

When did you start or how many years have you been with Park Dental? 
1999-almost 23 years. 

What is one thing you love most about Park Dental? 
The committed group of people that I get to work with. 

What do you enjoy most about being part of a group practice? 
The opportunity it gives me to learn from many different people.

  A teacher

  Picking strawberries at a berry patch

  Chocolate, bread and wine 
• If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? 
  I’ve been wanting to go to the Galapagos Islands 
• What’s your favorite movie? 
  The Sound of Music 
• What are your hobbies? 
  Traveling, reading ,cooking 
• What’s your favorite holiday? 
  Christmas—I enjoy the family traditions associated with it.
• Are you scared of or have a fear of anything? 
  Public speaking 
• What’s your favorite thing about living in Minnesota/Wisconsin? 
  The lakes 
• What’s your favorite season? 
  Summer, I like to be warm
