I conducted research at the University of Texas Dental School for 6 years in many areas including evaluation of bruxism utilizing scanning electron and confocal microscopy.

I care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who are candidates for Non-CPAP treatment. I am a Diplomat with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a certification for dentists who treat OSA with oral appliance therapy. I also collaborate with sleep physicians to identify the best treatment for each patient.

Personal

Born and raised in Texas with family from the Twin Cities and rural Minnesota.  I am an avid sailor/windsurfer and world traveler who loves taking photos.  I have taught at multiple dental, hygiene, and assisting schools.  I have practiced in private, public health, and the U.S. Army.
