I appreciate the variety that the field of dentistry offers, and have developed a special interest in the surgical aspects of care, including wisdom tooth removal and implant therapy. I also enjoy providing dental care on missions trips to Spanish-speaking nations.

I care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and am currently working toward Diplomat status with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a certification for dentists who treat OSA with oral appliance therapy. I also collaborate with sleep physicians to identify the best treatment for each patient.

Personal

I enjoy rock climbing, basketball, and a wide array of music. My wife is also a dentist and when we are not discussing dentistry, we love to travel and care for our four sons.

Personally speaking, tooth extraction is an emotionally uncomfortable process. I think the doctor and assistant did a wonderful job to make an extremely uncomfortable process as comfortable as possible. It was over quickly and that was important and greatly appreciated by me.
