What I enjoy most about dentistry is the opportunity to improve a person’s quality of life, whether by alleviating one’s pain or improving confidence in one’s smile. I believe in patient-centered care where patients feel both comfortable and informed, and I strive to create long-lasting relationships with my patients. The field of dentistry is ever-changing and I am committed to continue learning throughout my career.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my cat, Theo. I love to get out and explore on my bike, travel to new places, bake delicious treats, and curl up to a good book or movie. My time at the University of Minnesota Duluth instilled in me a love of the North Shore and I love to hike, camp, and be up north as much as I can.

Dr Strehike was very good at listening to me. She also explained as she was tending to me every step of the way. She listened and believed me when I told her how sensitive my teeth are and provided novicaine accordingly. I never want to go to another dentist!!

Dr. Strehlke was very efficient. I was impressed with her ability to tell which of my teeth were missing just by looking at the x-rays. She indicated that one of my teeth was cracked and indicated that it would eventually need to be pulled along with the opposing tooth, so that I could plan for the expense. I also liked that she did not push cosmetic procedures as so many other dentists have on my first visit. Very efficient, very practical.

Each visit that I have seen the dentist it has been for 3 minutes. I often question if she is actually even looking at anything. She is friendly, but I wish she would stay for at least 5 minutes.
