I have had the privilege of practicing dentistry at Park Dental Coon Rapids since 1999. I have most enjoyed developing relationships with both my patients and my coworkers. Park Dental provides an environment where we all are able to collaborate in order to provide the best care for our patients. I spend my time outside of the clinic with my husband and two children. We enjoy swimming, biking, kayaking, watching the Minnesota Twins and traveling.

Dr. Culver sat behind me when speaking. I turned around in the chair to face her and she didn't get the hint to face me when speaking. I couldn't maintain the twisted position very long , however she didn't change her position. Her clinical skills appeared adequate.

I appreciated that both the dentist and hygienist chatted with me when appropriate, kept me informed, but didn't chat with each other while working in my mouth. No conversation to try to hear over the drill. They were both friendly and very competent!

Questions I had about my gums and the soreness were sort of overlooked and that was the main reason for the visit, but the person making the appt decided to combined the cleaning with my requested appt. So my concerns were not answered at all. Come back in a week if it continues, really it has already been a month - what will really change

While Dr. Culver is friendly, she did not really discuss or provide any possible diagnosis of the issue in my mouth. I mentioned I thought is it possible it's the toothpaste and she said it could be and didn't discuss anything else other than trying different toothpaste and if the problem persists to go see my regular doctor. She didn't really look much in my mouth and I would have liked to have heard other things that may be causing my issue. I spent about 5 minutes or less with her and felt frustrated to be told to change my toothpaste and see my doctor if it doesn't get better. I did see my doctor and he definitely discussed more with me which is something Dr. Culver should have done as well since she has Dr. in front of her name. This is not meant to be negative but constructive.

I think Dr. Culver did a very good job. However, I am not a dentist and the work completed is intend to last for up to 15 years so time will tell with regard to the success of the crown installation.
