I like the wide range of opportunities that general dentistry has to offer in our group setting. I find it very enjoyable to interact daily with my patients and to collaborate with my colleagues, as I love to take care of people. I understand the importance of dental health, and find joy in helping people better understand how to take care of themselves and try and do it all with a little humor!  Away from dentistry, I enjoy playing softball, running, yoga, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.

We're not done. Dr. Balfour was thorough and professional - but also friendly and most accommodating as we tried (and continue to try) to figure repair of the crown on a short schedule. She reached out to previous dentist (from 15 years ago and in Hastings) and got info. We haven't resolved the situation yet, but we're getting there.

I started seeing Dr. Balfour several years ago when I was having a lot of jaw pain and was very self-conscious about my teeth (since they were getting really crowded as I was entering my 40s). She was so kind and supportive, helped refer me to a pain specialist for the teeth grinding and encouraged me that it was never too late to start orthodontics if I was unhappy with my smile. I don't think another dentist would have had that same combination of empathy, complete lack of judgement, and the encouragement I needed.

I have never been so impressed by a dentist as I was with Dr. Anne Balfour. She really talked to me and listened. She asked if I had questions - which they all do - and at first, I didn't', but she gave me more info anyway and then I did have questions. I had a very bizarre pain and everything checked out fine but she didn't give up on figuring out what was wrong. When the first endodontist didn't help, she sent me to a 2nd one. I know I would still be suffering if she wasn't so diligent.
