When I grew up, my family went to the same dentist my entire childhood because we had a great relationship with our dentist. My goal is to create a similar, long lasting relationship with my patients at Park Dental.  My philosophy places a high value on patient education and preventative techniques to improve my patient’s oral health. I believe the most important aspect of patient care is an accurate diagnosis and constructing treatment plans for each patient’s individual needs.

In my free time, I am an avid runner, a diligent reader and enjoy traveling at any opportunity. Although I’m from the Chicago suburbs, I fell in love with the Twin Cities when I came here for dental school and decided to make the move permanent. I now live here with my fiancé, cat Loki and dog Leia.

Dr. Orech is the best! She is very thorough and detail oriented, which is a good quality in the dental business. I was in for a crown, and the first permanent crown that was sent wasn't exactly right, so she took another scan and had them make another one. I really appreciated this.

Since the doctor was late, there wasn't a lot of time to go over everything. They went over how my teeth looked and how it compares to my history but I didn't hear much about preventative care or if there is anything I need to look out for from the dentist. The hygienist did explain some preventative care but not the dentist. They did ask me if I had any questions before I left.

I went to see the dentist about a chipped wisdom tooth and she said there wasn't anything she can do to fix it. She recommended a mouth guard that I should wear to sleep. She did not offer any options or refer me to get repaired. She talked about dental cleaning appointment. I think she spent more time talking about potential gum disease than the issue I went for consultation. Very disappointed.

I was in pain and not numb enough. doctor told me it would be quick and didn't listen to my discomfort. I had a thing in my mouth and couldn't talk so felt like I just had to tough it out. I had the doctor stop twice and she never offered to numb me more, just told me it would be quick. I've never experienced anything like that. I felt she just wanted to get it done since it was a quick procedure. it hurt and I was scared.

I came in with concerns about teeth on the right side of my mouth. particularly the upper right. The Dr. Orech took care of a cavity I didn't know I had on the left side and removed a loose molar, I also didn't realize was a problem. It's good to have it done, but I have to wait 5 more weeks to get the issue I was most concerned with taken care of.

My daughter has had a lot of issues with chewing. She's gets an uncomfortable tingling sensation a lot. We've asked past dentists and orthodontists what it might be and they never could tell us. At this appointment, the hygienist suggested she wear a bite guard at night. The dentist agreed and noticed she had some wear on her molars. We got our daughter a bite guard that night and already the next day it was noticeably better. I can't thank the hygienist and dentist enough for listening and giving us the great suggestion! Our daughter can chew again without discomfort! Finally!

Dr. Orech was very thorough. She was kind and she explained options I might take for future procedures. My dental hygienist is always very thorough with her procedures. She has been my hygienist for years. She's very friendly and is a good conversationalist. She remembers things about me that I have told her in the past. They seemed extra-rushed compared to previous visits, and didn't do as many things on the exam as they usually have done. Also, can you add different patient-dr interaction protocols re the sunglasses thing? I'm always nervous at the dentist and it would be helpful to have a reminder to remove the sunglasses when talking to the dr so it's a more human interaction.
